For a special new project, we are currently looking for experienced Rotor Dynamics Design Engineers for the location of Prague, OR Žatec, OR Žebrák.
The English language is a must. It would be helpful besides English being a vivid Czech Speaker.
Required is Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, and you should be an active driver for this position.
Scope includes the design of rotors, bearings, and engine static structures. Assignments will range from single-component improvement to clean-sheet (new) product design.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Specialization in rotor dynamics engineering, bearing and rotor systems design, modeling, and analysis
· Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5
· CAD capability and or ProE/CREO experience
· Knowledge/Experience with production and manufacturing methods
· Knowledge/Experience with test cell processes and acceptance and control specifications
· Knowledge/Experience with gas turbine test cell support systems - piping and instrumentation diagrams, hydro-mechanical systems, and vibration systems
· Knowledge/Experience with machinery vibration diagnostics and troubleshooting in a test cell and/or field support
· Knowledge/Experience with forensic investigations
· Knowledge/Experience with materials and lubrication technology
· Knowledge/Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition and analysis
· FEA Experience (ANSYS preferred) to perform a detailed analysis of mechanical components
· Knowledge/Experience with various technical standard organizations (e.g. API, ISO, etc.)
· English language is a must
· Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
· Minimum Years of Experience: 3-5 years
