We’re looking for a hands-on Software Architect who enjoys shaping architecture and shipping production code. You’ll help drive the technical direction of a large-scale microservices platform powering digital services used by customers worldwide.
This role is open to two profiles:
1. Senior Java Developers with strong microservices experience and clear architectural exposure, who want to grow into a full Software Architect role.
2. Experienced Software Architects who are still hands-on and want to lead architecture while actively contributing in code.
This isn’t an “architecture-from-a-distance” role. You’ll be close to the codebase, influence engineering standards, and partner with multiple teams to build a platform that scales, technically and organizationally.
Why this role is interesting for developers
Real architectural ownership: you’ll influence patterns, platform evolution, and long-term technical decisions
Hands-on engineering: feature delivery, refactoring, reviews, and solving real production constraints
Modern stack & practices: microservices, cloud, containers, CI/CD, DevOps mindset
International product impact: work in a global environment on services with real usage and visibility
💡 What you’ll work on
Design and evolve a microservices architecture in Java
Build and deliver new functionality (yes, you will code)
Define and spread engineering standards (clean code, testing strategy, resiliency, observability)
Lead technical discussions across teams and projects (trade-offs, scalability, reliability)
Perform code reviews and raise the bar on code quality
Translate business needs into pragmatic, scalable technical solutions
Improve CI/CD pipelines and delivery automation
Drive cloud-native improvements across containerized infrastructure
🧠 What we’re looking for
Strong experience building enterprise-grade Java systems
Excellent Java ecosystem knowledge, ideally Spring Boot
Proven track record with microservices design and operations
Ability to balance architecture thinking with pragmatic implementation
Solid Git workflow experience (branching strategies, reviews, collaboration)
CI/CD tooling and automation experience
Containers: Docker + orchestration (Kubernetes or similar)
Cloud exposure: Azure / AWS / GCP
Strong communication, able to explain technical decisions to engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Good understanding of design patterns and modern architecture principles
⭐ Nice to have
CDN experience (ideally Akamai)
Experience with large-scale, customer-facing web platforms
🎁 What you get
5 weeks vacation + 6 sick days (+ extra days for long-term cooperation)
Annual bonus up to 20% of gross annual salary
Hybrid setup: flexible hours + 3 days/week home office
Company car for private use or car allowance
Multisport, meal allowance (Edenred), pension & life insurance contributions
Training & certifications support
International projects + modern technologies
Share purchase option, anniversary rewards, events & wellbeing activities
