Senior General Ledger Accountant

Location: Prague – Karlín

Start: Immediately

Salary: Up to 90,000 CZK gross/month

Are you a seasoned General Ledger professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment? Do you feel comfortable in times of change and transformation, and would you like to be part of a central finance team supporting multiple EMEA entities? What you will be responsible for:

  • Playing a key role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for EMEA legal entities
  • Reviewing balance sheet and P&L accounts, identifying variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Ensuring accounting records are fully compliant with internal policies and US GAAP
  • Acting as a trusted finance partner to internal stakeholders, providing accounting guidance and support
  • Participating in SAP-related projects, system migrations, and process integrations
  • Working closely with GL team leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Supporting internal and external audits
Požadavky

What we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP (essential)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting within an international or multi-entity environment
  • Solid accounting background, including inventory and cost accounting
  • Hands-on SAP experience (required)
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); additional European language is an advantage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
