We are looking for a Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing activities within a global automotive environment. The role is responsible for category strategy, supplier performance, cost optimization, and supply risk management across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute category strategies aligned with global procurement goals
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and agreements
- Drive sourcing activities and cost optimization initiatives
- Identify and develop new suppliers to strengthen the supply base
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost, innovation)
- Manage supply and supplier risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain)
- Support innovation and sustainability initiatives
Požadavky
Requirements
- 4–7 years in Procurement / Category Management
- Automotive or industrial background
- Strong supplier management and sourcing experience
- Strategic and analytical mindset
- Fluent English (German or Spanish is a plus)
