Job description

Loads and unloads shipments to/from interchangeable bodies.
Communicates with drivers to ensure proper loading and unloading
Loads/unloads/measures/weighs/packs/records goods/shipments
Inspects goods, stops and reports damaged goods
Takes inventory of stock as directed by supervisors and according to departmental process settings
Meticulously observes H&S principles
Responsible for appropriate public speaking in the interest of the company's reputation

Requirements

Primary or secondary vocational education (matriculation is not a requirement)
Physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of the job
Basic knowledge of English
Must be willing to work night shifts
experience driving a forklift
