Multinational company located in the center of Prague is looking for middle senior or experienced team leaders with experience in logistics area and flexible to work within shifts (no weekends or nights) only mornings and afternoon woring hours!
As a Transportation team leader you would lead a small team of people and take care of assuring processes as well as critically supervise and deal with various functions and issues across Europe.
Main responsibilities:
- Transportation carrier performance management
- Analyzing existing trucking capacity & forecasting capacity requirements
- Ensuring a quality and requirement fulfillment
- Maintaining and improving communication
- Improving processes as well as workflow plans
- Supporting market research
- Participating in meetings and business reviews
- Tracking and checking existing metrics
- An university degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics or related field
- Experience in Transportation or Supply Chain, preferably in a similar role
- Professional fluency in ENGLISH, a command of German, French or other EU language is an advantage
