What You’ll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in Python running on AWS ☁️
Implement new features and collaborate across teams to deliver the best technical solutions
Plan and evolve our server architecture to enable exciting gameplay innovations
Optimize server performance and scalability for millions of players
Analyze player behavior and fortify systems against exploits, bots, and cheaters 🔐
Work closely with QA to ensure high-quality, bug-free releases
Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in cloud environments
Stay ahead of trends in Python, Redis, AWS, and gaming tech
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in high-availability backend systems for large-scale games or apps
Expert in Python and frameworks like Flask, Tornado, or FastAPI
Strong knowledge of async programming, Redis, RESTful APIs, and low-latency code
Solid understanding of Linux, Docker, and relational databases (MySQL or similar)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and game server architectures
Security mindset: preventing intrusions, injections, and cheating
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM)
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
Familiarity with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Redis Streams)
Understanding of network infrastructure and cloud networking concepts
Skills in traffic analysis and monitoring tools like Datadog or Kibana
