  • Mentoring and developing other software engineers
  • Being task and time driven: motivated to get stuff done
  • Involvement in all team activities: planning, design, coding, testing, process improvements, and innovations because your opinion is important
  • Writing quality code and all the pieces such a delivery entails
  • Turning product requirements into functional code
  • Documentation including UML diagrams of features and components
  • Taking ownership of features and seeing them through to completion
  • Highlighting foreseen problems with application / architectural direction and giving helpful

suggestions to move forward

  • Maintaining a good relationship with co-workers
Requirements
  • Be able to receive feedback, listen to and accept others’ ideas.
  • Bring your expertise and opinions to the table...that why we are hiring you.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Javascript as a language (ES6+) (framework agnostic) or have in-depth knowledge of PHP as a language (7.1+) (framework agnostic).
  • Be able to see features requirements holistically, plan and architect entire features with

clarity accuracy

  • Have experience with Database(s) (NoSQL / MySQL) and good code Architecture
  • Fully understand current architecture designs patterns and paradigms
  • Have at least 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education (Ph.D. / Masters)
  • Understand Scrum/agile methodologies
  • Experience with writing unit tests and other testing paradigms
  • Understand security best practices (eg. OAuth/JWT)
