Packaging Engineer/ HPP – Hybrid

Are you interested in engineering, logistics and manufacturing? Would you like to develop packaging solutions used in real production?
We are looking for a Packaging Engineer to join an international team. You will help design and improve packaging for both prototype and serial production and work closely with engineering, logistics and manufacturing teams.
What will you do?
- Design and develop packaging solutions for production and prototypes.
- Calculate and optimize packaging units, racks, cages and other returnable packaging.
- Look for ways to improve transport, space utilization, quality and costs.
- Prepare packaging specifications and technical documentation.
- Support the selection of packaging materials and equipment.
- Prepare cost calculations and support projects focused on reducing packaging and logistics costs.
- Work with the CAD Design, Purchasing, Logistics and Manufacturing teams.
- Support packaging projects from the initial idea through to implementation in production.
- Use the PLM system to release packaging designs.
- Occasionally travel to manufacturing plants across Europe - up to 20% of your time.
Requirements
What do we expect?
- 1–4 years of experience in packaging, engineering, manufacturing, logistics or a similar field.
- Interest in packaging technology and logistics.
- Basic understanding of logistics and transport processes.
- Experience with MS Office and ideally a 3D CAD tool such as SolidWorks.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Analytical thinking and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Advanced English.
- German or Polish is an advantage, but not required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe.
