You will be part of the team that is responsible for Internet, voice, video and data telecommunication services. They administer, maintain, monitor, develop and implement these services used throughout a company.
Position Description
Assists with the analysis of telecommunications needs and contributes with the implementation of secure IP voice, data, video, mobile and Internet telecommunications solutions to meet the specific requirements of the various corporate SBUs. Provides support with the installation and activation of voice, data and Internet connectivity. Contributes with short- and long-term planning to meet communications requirements. Is knowledgeable of Internet services, application load balancing, mobility solutions, remote access and security infrastructure, or; of LANs/WANs using switching and router technology and IP address management, or; of IP PBX voice solutions, video/audio conferencing services and IP call center services and technologies. Assists with hardware/software analysis to provide comparative data of performance characteristics and suitability with the existing systems environment. Assists with the evaluation of vendor services and equipment. Generates network monitoring and performance reports for utilization studies, problem resolution and telecommunications design changes and enhancements for improved system availability and performance.
