Are you an independent, numbers-driven HR professional with deep expertise in European payroll and benefits? We aren't looking for a distant executive, we need a proactive, hands-on Payroll and Pension Manager EMEA to take full ownership of our payroll strategy and operations across the region.

📈 What Will Make You Stand Out?

We are looking for someone with extensive experience managing external payroll providers across multiple European entities. If you are comfortable navigating complex international tax regulations, social security laws, and company pension schemes, you are exactly who we are looking for!

📝 Your Daily Responsibilities Will Be:

🤝 Provider Management: Controlling external payroll service providers and collaborating closely with local HR colleagues across EMEA.

💰 Payroll Accuracy: Ensuring timely and correct monthly payroll preparation for around 350 employees, including complex impat/expat scenarios.

🏦 Pension Expertise: Acting as the central, EMEA-wide contact point for all company pension scheme

⏱️ Time & Attendance: Managing the Time and Attendance System in EMEA alongside the HR Coordinator.

🔍 Audit & Compliance: Coordinating external audits (tax office, auditors, social security) and collaborating with external legal/tax consultants.

📊 HR Controlling & Reporting: Supporting annual salary increases, bonus rounds, benefit administration, and preparing specific HR data reports.

💡 Process Optimization: Participating in EMEA-wide projects to define, streamline, and optimize HR and payroll processes.

Requirements

🎓 What You Bring to the Team:

Education: A degree in Business Administration, Business Psychology, or a comparable field with strong results.

Expertise: In-depth knowledge of payroll accounting, European tax, social security, labor law, and company pension schemes.

Experience: Proven track record in Compensation & Benefits, HR controlling, and successfully managing external payroll vendors.

Mindset: High customer orientation, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to handle complex, cross-border issues.

Languages: Very good knowledge of English (C1). Any additional European language (like German) is a massive advantage!
