Area Sales Manager

Manages a team of representatives within the scope of the entrusted division, may be responsible for the whole Czech Republic or simply a sector. Spends 80 % of his/her working hours in the field, travels on Double Calls with representatives (visits made with representatives), approves attendance at congresses and seminars, allocates the budget among representatives, and supervises performance of plans. Motivates and trains representatives, and determines the sales strategy.

Clinical Trial Associate

The Clinical Trial Associate’s task is to prepare and monitor clinical trials, independently prepare and execute the relevant documents concerning individual projects, with full responsibility for the entrusted projects. He/She makes sure that the prescribed rules are adhered to and that the prescribed documents are archived, and administers and executes clinical documentation.

Clinical Trial Manager

Responsible for verification of the safety and effectiveness of new medicaments. Realises, coordinates and organises clinical studies in various phases. As well as coordinating an internal team, he/she also needs to consult cooperation with external partners or suppliers.

Dermatologist

A dermatologist specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, including skin cancer.

Doctor

The general practitioner provides basic care, preventive and diagnostic care to his/her patients. To pursue the profession, a university degree in medicine is needed. He/She is also responsible for consultancy procedures. He/She performs regular medical examinations, vaccination and other basic medical services. He/She potentially recommends patients to other medical specialists. Detailed medical records and documentation are kept for each examination.

Key Account Manager

This is a higher post than Medical Sales Representative; he/she communicates with VIP clients – physicians, hospital management and pharmacies. He/She is responsible for submitting bids in selection tenders and negotiating positive sheets (lists of recommended medicaments with the lowest prices). He/She attends conferences and congresses. This position is typical for the Hospital division – a product which he/she does not visit the doctors with.

Laboratory Assistant

A Laboratory Assistant performs laboratory tests, works with biological material, and prepares material necessary for laboratory and diagnostic activities. His/Her tasks also include processing of biological material samples and introduction of new laboratory methods. For a position of a Laboratory Assistant, at least a higher vocational education degree or bachelor’s degree is required.

Medical Advisor

His/Her task is to update medical information about the entrusted products, coordinate projects, provide advisory services and trainings to colleagues in the company, be aware of competitive products, deal with specialist doctors participating in clinical research and monitor individual clinical trials. He/She is expected to have detailed knowledge of these areas and the ability to inform and support the marketing, business and managerial teams from the medical aspect.

Medical Sales Representative

Responsible for visiting chemist’s shops and physicians with specific specialisations, promoting medicaments, organising seminars for physicians, organising round tables, attending specialist congresses in the Czech Republic, handling samples of medicaments, entering activities into the system, attending product training courses and company conferences. He/She works within a specified region with an entrusted portfolio of customers. He/She works 100 % in the field, administration from home.

Medical Science Liaison

The MSL works in the field 50 % of the time. His/Her job is communication with key opinion leaders and VIP clients. He/She attends conferences and other specialist events, increases awareness of products and instructs physicians and nurses. He/She works closely with the sales department, marketing and the clinical studies department.

Nurse

Medical nurses provide basic and special nursing care depending on the doctor’s diagnosis. His/Her job includes assessment of a patient’s needs and level of self-sufficiency, the symptoms of their illness and risk factors using standard nursing methods.

Optometrist

This non-medical healthcare professional specializes in eye examination, application of contact lenses, and can recommend a suitable vision correction aid. An Optometrist is an intermediate stage between an ophthalmic optician who recommends and makes optical aids according to the prescription, and an ophthalmologist who measures eyesight and prescribes glasses and treats eye diseases.

Pharmacist

A Pharmacist prepares and dispenses prescription and over-the-counter drugs, serves individual customers and, if necessary, helps them choose a suitable medicine. He/She provides them with basic information about medicines and consultations on their suitability. This position is for a graduate of the Master’s degree in pharmacy.

Product Manager

He/She establishes product brands during all phases of their life cycle, administers complete product, price, distribution and promotional marketing, and creates plans and marketing budgets, evaluates profitability and cooperates with independent suppliers. This employee also takes care of the training of representatives/sales agents and occasionally also visits customers in the field.

Regulatory Affairs Manager

He/She has greater decision-making powers than a Regulatory Affairs Specialist and manages registration specialists or assists them and prepares, coordinates and administers regulatory materials. This employee prepares applications for changes, monitors legislation, cooperates with other departments in the company and with independent partners, and also frequently handles important projects.

Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Is involved in the preparation and execution of registration documentation and its submission to the State Institute for Drug Control. During the registration of new medicaments he/she monitors the progress of the registration proceedings and prepares answers to potential queries. Monitors the development of registration legislation and is responsible for preparing registration documentation for all types of registration procedures.

Sales Manager/Director

The Sales Director coordinates and is responsible for implementation and development of the company’s business and sales strategy. He/She makes decisions when executing the business policy and utilising in-house resources. He/She looks after strategic management and influences development and innovation processes, represents the company when establishing and maintaining business relations and when dealing with partners. Management and inspection of employees, assignment of tasks and subsequent examination of their performance all fall under his/her competence, which also includes motivation and evaluation of these employees.

Sales Representative

Is responsible for clients, promotion of products, organisation of seminars and attendance at specialist congresses in the Czech Republic, enters activities in the system, and also attends product training and corporate conferences. Works in the field of the entrusted region. He/She is responsible for the entrusted portfolio of clients, has set quarterly plans and goals, his/her superior is the Sales Manager.

Quality Assurance Analyst

He/She analyses and inspects the quality of raw materials, intermediate products and final products. This employee also assures quality during the manufacturing and introduction of products, and works on projects depending on the company’s requirements – keeps an analytical journal, executes protocols and materials for releasing raw materials and products, executes documentation, maintains and inspects the used instruments and evaluates the measured analytical data.

Labeling Specialist

Creates texts on packaging and leaflets following applicable standards and requirements of local and international legislation.  He/she also collaborates and synchronizes activities across the company with the development, quality, regulatory affairs, and marketing departments. He/she manages the translation of manuals and other documentation into foreign languages and formats and reviews them according to applicable internal company regulations. He/she designs production documentation, coordinates its creation and implementation into production, and oversees the final result.

Laboratory Manager

They are responsible for the management of the team and the organization of work in the laboratory, takes care of sufficient materials for the laboratory operation, and supervises compliance with the principles of occupational health and safety. He/she performs analytical services, ensures quality testing, and monitors the environmental impact.

Pharmacovigilance Specialist

Responsible for the post-authorization supervision of medicinal products to ensure maximum safety and the best possible balance between the benefits and risks of the medicinal product. this includes detecting, evaluating, understanding, and preventing adverse drug reactions or problems such as misuse or abuse.
