When does the competition take place?

The competition takes place from 2pm, 9 July 2018, to 1:59pm, 15 August 2018.

How do you win?

Two conditions must be met to win the competition. Firstly, you must complete a survey (links below) then answer the following question: “Guess how many people will have answered this survey by 15 August 2018?” Those with the closest guess to the actual final number and completed survey will win.

 Only one person may win each of the prizes.

General terms of the competition

Grafton Recruitment s.r.o., with its registered office at Palladium, Na Poříčí 3a, 110 00 Prague 1, Business IN: 62583344, registered in the Companies Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, insert 33542, is organising the competition.

Term of the competition

Only surveys completed between 2pm, 9 July 2018 to 1:59pm, 15 August will be included in the competition.

Terms and conditions of the competition

and by answering the Question. Those contestants whose guess is closest to the correct answer will be declared the winners. Only one person may win each prize. If there are multiple correct answers, the first correct answer received wins. The survey may be filled in only once. To take part in the competition and for us to be able to contact you in the event of your winning a prize, you must enter your contact details. The organizer reserves the right to alter or terminate the competition at any time.

Prizes 

1. The person with the closet guess and with a completed survey will win a Polaroid Snap Touch Instant. 

2. The person with the second-best guess and with a completed survey will win a Polaroid Snap Touch Instant. 

3. The person with the third best guess and with a completed survey will win a Polaroid Snap Touch Instant. 

Winners 

Three persons with the best guesses as answers to the Question and with completed surveys will become the winners at the end of the competition, i.e., on 15 August 2018 at 1:59pm.

Announcement and presentation of prizes 

To announce that a contestant has won one of the prizes, the contact details provided by the contestants in the competition form will be used. The winners will be notified by email by 31 August 2018 at the latest. The prizes will be presented in person at one of the branches by 31 December 2018.

Manner of presentation of the prizes

The prizes will be presented to the winners in person at one of the operator’s branches, as agreed with the winner. Should the winner not react to the announcement that they have won one of the prizes within 10 days of being contacted, the winner’s prize shall be forfeited by the organizer without any compensation.

I. INITIAL PROVISIONS

1.1
These general terms and conditions of the competition (the “Competition Terms”) lay down binding rules which shall govern the competition organized through the following website.

1.2
The relationship between the Organizer and the Contestants is governed by these Competition Terms (the “Terms”), unless special terms and conditions of the Competition or a notice announcing the winners of the Competition published on the website of the Organizer provide otherwise.

II. DEFINITIONS OF TERMS USED

2.1
Grafton Recruitment s.r.o., with its registered office at Palladium, Na Poříčí 3a, 110 00 Prague 1, Business IN: 62583344, registered in the Companies Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, insert 33542, is the Organizer of the competition.

2.2
The Organizer will inform about the competition by means of targeted mailing, on its website and on Facebook, a social networking site located at facebook.com or in its original application (Facebook). The Organizer’s website is www.grafton.cz (the “Server”), and the list of email addresses is exclusively owned by the Organizer.

2.3
The term “Contestant” means any person who, during the term of the competition, completes the survey available at one of the following addresses.

2.4
A User taking part in a Competition organized by the Organizer shall be considered a Contestant.

2.5
The first three Users who have submitted the best guess as to the number of surveys completed from the beginning to the end of the competition and who have met all the terms and conditions of the competition shall be declared the winners. The winners are announced at the end of the competition.

2.6
A notice published by the Organizer on the Server that the Competition has been conducted on, shall be considered as the official announcement of the Competition and is governed by the  Competition Terms.

2.7
The Competition commences on the date indicated as the starting date of the Competition in the Announcement of the Competition.

2.8
The Competition ends on the date indicated as the end date of the Competition in the Announcement of the Competition.

III. GENERAL RULES

3.1
All registered Users who agree with these Competition Terms and with the General Terms of Business, may take part in the Competition, except for employees of the Organizer and persons involved with the Organizer, along with their family members.

3.2
Natural persons with their place of residence outside the Czech Republic may also take part in the Competition.

3.3
Persons who do not agree to the Competition Terms may not take part in the Competition.

3.4
The Competition is considered commenced upon its Announcement on the Organizer’s Server.

3.5
Contestants take part in the Competition by completing the survey on one of the following websites.

3.6
The Prize shall be presented by the Organizer in person at one of the Organizer’s branches by 31 December 2018. By this, the obligation to present the prize to the Winner shall be considered met.

3.7
No warranty is provided for the prizes. The Organizer is not liable for any defects or damage of the Prizes once they have been presented to the winners, which the Contestant acknowledges.

3.8
The Prizes may not be claimed in court.

IV. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF CONTESTANTS

4.1
The Contestant represents that he or she has entered the Competition willingly.

4.2
The Contestant shall provide the Organizer with complete and accurate personal details important for the presentation of the Prize.

4.3
The Contestant who has become the Winner shall react to the Organizer’s announcement within 10 days. Otherwise, any entitlement to the prize shall cease to exist.

4.4
The Organizer will communicate via electronic mail, i.e., by sending an email to the address provided by the Contestant in the survey.

4.5
In the event the winner fails to respond to the notice within 10 days, the Prize shall be forfeited by the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to designate another winner who shall thereby take the place of the original winner who failed to react to the notice.

4.6
The Contestant must act so as not to violate laws and regulations in force in the Czech Republic and so as not to cause any harm to the Organizer or to other Contestants.

V. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE ORGANIZER

5.1
The Organizer must inform the Winners that they have won by 31 August 2018 via the email address indicated by the Winner in the survey.

5.2
The Organizer’s obligation to release the prize to the Winner is considered met when the Organizer presents the prize in person at one of its branches.

5.3
The Organizers bears no liability for any damage that the prize may cause to the Winner or to other persons that may come into a contact with the prize.

5.4
The Organizer reserves the right to interrupt, modify or terminate the Competition without stating a reason if unexpected circumstances or events influenced by force majeure occur. In such cases, the Contestant is not entitled to any compensation or settlement.

5.5
The Organizer bears no liability for any potential damage caused by a failure of systems and software which was not caused by intentional acts of the Organizer. In such case, the Organizer reserves the right to interrupt, modify or terminate the Competition without stating a reason. The Contestant is not entitled to any compensation or settlement.

VI. PERSONAL DATA

6.1
All data received from the Contestant are considered the Contestant’s personal data and are protected under Act No. 101/200 Coll., on personal data protection, and by the GDPR regulation effective from 25 May 2018. The Contestant confirms that he or she understands that the provision of personal data is voluntary and that the Contestant has access to such data. Your personal data will be processed only by the Organizer of the Competition, i.e., by Grafton Recruitment s.r.o., and only for the purposes of determining the winners of the Competition and contacting the winners.

6.2
The Organizer undertakes not to share personal data of Contestants with any other third party unrelated to the Organizer, i.e., to Grafton Recruitment s.r.o. The Contestant agrees that data of winners containing their name, surname and the town or city the winner is from may be published on the websites and Facebook profiles of the Organizer.

VII. FINAL PROVISIONS

7.1
These Competition Terms have been executed in accordance with laws and other regulations currently in force in the Czech Republic. The Contestant entering the Competition certifies that he or she has demonstrably acquainted themselves with these Terms and that he or she shall observe them.

7.2
The Organizer reserves the right to make modifications or additions to these Competition Terms. In such case, the Organizer shall announce such changes on its Servers.

7.3
These Competition Terms come into effect on 9 July 2018.
