Then we might be looking for you!

Our client, a globally successful leader in the field of energy and chemicals, is seeking a Strategic Buyer with French who will be responsible for the French portfolio.

More specifically, you will:

  • Purchase equipment, materials, and service requirements valued at over $100K across EMEA
  • Communicate with internal clients to identify and specify current needs
  • Interact with external suppliers
  • Develop bid packages for spot purchases
  • Coordinate bid evaluations and identify bundling opportunities
  • Conduct complex negotiations of pricing and general terms & conditions
Requirements
  • Educational background in Economics or Engineering preferably
  • Previous experience in Procurement (2+ years)
  • Strong command of French language (C1), and good command of English (B2+)
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Time-management, organizational skills, pro-active attitude
  • Knowledge of SAP would be a plus
