- Design scalable, maintainable, and reliable infrastructure that supports microservice
architecture concepts
- Develop and implement incident response and disaster response plans
- Owning the CI/CD process and releasing software across all environments
- Working with our Security Engineer to improve security and risk mitigation
- Taking over the existing DevOps infrastructure and continuing to build and improve upon
the existing work and processes
- Implementing a configuration management tool such as Chef
- Improving efficiencies in infrastructure to reduce overhead focusing on microservices
and auto-scaling
- Implementing and extending best practices around security and secret management
- Developing processes to grant and revoke access to users in the system
- Implementing application monitoring tools to monitor performance and exceptions
