Job description

Our prestigious client, an international company with good reputation, is currently seeking GERMAN speaking JUNIOR and SENIOR candidates to fill the vacancies in Procurement for the position of a Legal Specialist.

! This is a non-attorney position !

The role is a part of a new multilingual project and provides extended professional and career opportunities for German speaking candidates.

We are looking for candidates who speak fluent German and English (C1).

Your main responsibilities would be:

  • Contract management for business partners and suppliers
  • Provide timely service and guidance to clients
  • Prepare the most appropriate contracts for ordering goods and services
  • Negotiate conditions of contracts with clients
  • Oversee contracting processes
  • Ensure contracts are set within regulations and policies

The primary categories of contract expertise are IT, Marketing, Facilities, logistics and Corporate and Professional Service.

Requirements

You need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Significant experience with working with a variety of contract types
  • Past experience with drafting agreements in following areas IT, Marketing, Professional Services, Facilities, MRO
  • Experience with contract reporting necessary i.e. total number of contracts, number of suppliers under contract, and other indicators to assess progress and effectiveness of the contract function.
  • Experience responding to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and redlines revisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a team setting where team members are not direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results with cross functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word.
  • Ability to travel.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Paralegal certificate a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement industry.
