Are you passionate about backend development and eager to contribute to a cutting-edge SaaS solution in the financial and risk reporting sector? Our PoLAR team is seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to play a pivotal role in enhancing our in-house software. You'll be part of a collaborative group, working closely with other developers, Azure engineers, business analysts, and testers to push the boundaries of what's possible.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business analysts to design and propose infrastructure solutions, coding practices, and data structures from start to finish.

Craft high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code for the application's backend, focusing on server-side functionalities, including data processing, business logic, and database communications.

Develop robust unit tests and contribute to the application's infrastructure alongside your team.

Address and solve complex technical challenges, optimize performance, and ensure code reliability.

Guide and mentor junior team members, influencing technical decisions and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of REST APIs and Azure functions.

Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB) and familiarity with SQL.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of the Azure cloud platform, including serverless services and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with React, and knowledge of Python & R is beneficial.

Experience in secure coding practices, particularly in regulated sectors like insurance or banking.

Ability to thrive in an agile environment, demonstrating initiative, organization, and result-driven work ethic.

A keen interest in continuous learning and applying new technologies and methodologies.

Benefits

A flexible work environment, including home office options, 5 weeks of vacation, and 5 well-being days annually.

A 3% employer contribution to your pension fund every month.

An unlimited budget for your continuous education, covering both hard and soft skills, including language courses.

Various perks like meal contributions, cafeteria programs, and a monthly home office allowance.

A multisport card and partnerships with well-known companies (Makro, Datart, Sony, Electrolux, and more).

Perks like an iPhone 11, a personal Office 365 License, and O2 Family discounts.

Volunteering opportunities to give back to our community.

Employee referral bonuses because great people know great people.
