Job description

We are looking for a skilled F# Developer to join our international banking company based in Prague. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications using F# or C#, Scala, Haskell, and Clojure. The ideal candidate will have experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, as well as UI/web development and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using F# or C#, Scala, Haskell, and Clojure
  • Develop and maintain NoSQL databases using MongoDB
  • Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, and efficient
  • Develop user interfaces and web applications
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
  • Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Experience with functional programming languages such as F#, Scala, Haskell, or Clojure
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Experience with UI/web development
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with C#, F#or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
