As part of our Actuarial Services team, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics and actuarial principles to drive strategic decisions and provide accurate insights to our clients.

Position Overview:

As an Actuarial Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, develop actuarial models, and generate actionable insights that support pricing, risk assessment, and business strategies. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing our data-driven approach to decision-making and contributing to the success of our clients and the broader organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development, maintenance, and validation of actuarial models and tools for various insurance and financial products.

Collaborate with underwriters, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing and risk assessment for new and existing products.

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide meaningful interpretations for business decision-making.

Support the preparation of actuarial reports, including reserve calculations, loss projections, and regulatory compliance documentation.

Participate in the evaluation of pricing strategies and the assessment of potential risk exposures.

Contribute to the enhancement of actuarial processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in actuarial science to provide proactive insights.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity, streamline processes, and implement innovative technological solutions.

Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

1-3 years of relevant actuarial experience within the insurance or financial services sector.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and modeling.

Solid understanding of actuarial principles, pricing techniques, and statistical methodologies.

Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Professional actuarial certification (e.g., SOA, CAS) or progress toward certification is a plus.

Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
