Great opportunity to work for a Global IT Services and Solutions leader based in Prague. We are seeking for an experienced SUPPLY CHAIN SUPERVISOR! You will hold an important role with wide range of responsibilities as providing expert supply chain perspective and making recommendations to supply chain leaders and business colleagues, maintaining excellent working relationships with business stakeholders to support the business in achievement of its outcomes, negotiating agreements with suppliers and being responsible for the hiring and performance management.

Other responsibilities:

  • Execute global supply chain strategies for strategic sourcing, global category management, contracting and supplier management and business partnering.
  • Supporting Procurement category initiatives.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions including pricing and delivers against specific savings targets.
  • Perform cost analysis and benchmarking, Forecasting price and market trends and their impact on future activities.
  • Support category teams with transactional purchasing.
  • Select and hire employees.
  • Train and evaluates employees.
  • Motivate and reward employees (providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions)
  • Define tasks and activities of staff, clearly describing deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of supply chain related experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Superb communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with sourcing and contracting, strategic sourcing, category management and supplier management practices
  • Team work while ensuring follow up on individual responsibility
