Characteristic of the position:

A product owner role deals with business processes, products and applications from BUS perspective. (S)he is involved in projects of business changes and related software implementation. Focuses on aligning the business team around the scope of a solution, and on detailed requirements for the technical team to implement. (S)he behaves as the owner of the BUS process and the applications connected to these processes. (S)he is responsible for the effective evolvement of the IT systems and act as the key customer for the IT.

Main responsibilities:

  • Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects
  • Understand core systems, applications and technical platforms
  • Create and facilitate efficient and cost effective solutions and analyse systems specification to meet business requirements
  • Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products
  • Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap
  • Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Prioritizes and maintains the backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
  • Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
  • Document, analyse and assess current business processes and underlying systems / applications
  • Evolve into a subject-matter expert who can easily liaise between BUS and IT
  • Supervise all integration processes with new clients and other third-party vendors
  • Ensure clean and accurate documentation that may include aspects such as business requirements, client requirements, and technical specifications
  • Ensure that all documents are safely kept and accessible for future reference
  • Preparation of User Acceptance Testing and performing the tests together with BUS customers
  • Carryout research on how IT systems are used and suggest ways for system improvement and efficiency
  • Is responsible for end-user trainings and knowledge transfer
Požadavky
  • Strong critical / analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English B2 minimum
  • (Bachelor's degree in relevant field)
  • 2+ years experience as product owner/ business analyst or experience with implementation projects
  • Experience in planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements
  • Expertise in modelling / mapping as-is and to-be business processes
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile
  • Experienced in test planning, test case development and execution
  • Able to carry out tasks with little or no supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment
  • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills
  • High energy level, adaptive and a strong team player with a good work ethic
  • Experience with the Atlassian JIRA and Confluence is advantage
